coroded boot/door switch, open to ellements and rusts away, could fool car in to think door was open.
good man, we have had that symptom before.
Mind you, all things are possible when you are given a second hand diagnosis by a lady driver LOL

She probably rested her handbag on the steering wheel, and hit the horn button. :lol :lol :lol
probably. i took it for a spin handbrake partly on door open. no a sound.dont know if anything to do with brakes as she later informed me the h/brake warning light came on.been having issues with intermittent abs cutting in .
neil
Didn't think the handbrake caused an alarm?
This ABS thing, what do you mean by intermittently cutting in? Not of its own accord I assume? Do you just mean its operating when you brake, when you think it shouldn't?
is it from the front or back of the car? Mine had a beeper connected to the towbar wiring something to do with trailer indicators. it had a dodgy connection and would randomly beep while i was driving around.
took me ages to find it :doh but when I did find it, I amputated it
yes every now and again it cuts in when it shouldnt.i can be about stationary and you can feel thro pedal.

well as long as you are sure? If it does it in the dry then theres a problem, but its quite normal for it to cut in when its wet....you could just have hit a slippery bit at the last minute?
