puplet33 is the ebay seller, louise is her name. there from the fairway taxi's.

The last sale is here and it didnt end on £15, it went to £34 inc p&p for one. The picture appears to be of a genuine hi clone not a n other type.

A search under hiclone brings back loads for the green oval brigade around the £70 mark but no real bargains.

You need to talk to her, thats the deal she gave me.

Are they genuine and first quality :nenau the last place I'd be putting seconds that may drop to bits is in my manifolds

The straight buy price you are quoting is less than bulk purchase to retailers.

remember..............if something seems to be too good to be true it possibly is.

expensive snake oil IMHO! :thumbs

They were designed in Australia to workwork on normally-aspirated (i.e. with carbs) petrol engines because they are crap at prolonging fuel atomisation into the combustion chamber. In that application they are very effective.

On any fuel injected engine, especially a diesel and especially with a turbo in the way, with great respect to people who feel they work, the science is non-existent - unless someone has it squirreled away and can produce it? And by that I mean proper, approved and monitored dyno testing etc.., not Hiclones marketing bull.... :)

Mr cynical :lol

Ok then.................how come my T2 recorded decent low emissions when they were in , higher when they were removed then back to the original lower when they went back in ie benchmark to test figure and return to benchmark :nenau
(same machine, same location same day all within the space of an hour or so ;) )

All of which indicates with little room for debate , a cleaner burn ;) as I've freely admitted I didnt have the car long enough to judge any different in the "feel" of it with or without them but a cleaner burn is a more efficient one so it doesnt matter whether I'm using less fuel per bhp or getting more bhp for the same fuel , what I am definitely getting is more bang per buck :clap (or per penny or yen for you uk jap vehicle drivers :augie)

Just out of interest you get voids and still areas on all airflows at all airflow speeds. Whilst aerodynamics supports the idea hi clones do move the airflow along at certain points I personally reckon they may impede it at others. Thats actually the only way I can reconcile the drop in power shown on some of their dyno tests theyve published (cant remember the link but I have posted it elsewhere on here)
However the lack of air/fuel movement may well be at a point where you dont notice it. A bit like when youre on that easy jet flight and the air flow outside is going daft but you dont notice it :thumb2

sorry typos

I was busy ammending that within the editing time , came out all wrong. what it should say is that you can get turbulance, voids and still areas on any airflows at any airflow speed. :thumb2

Lets explain this gently.....................theyre there now but they werent last night when the questions were posed. neither are £15 buy now,in fact the top one is buy now £25 and the bottom auction starts at £9.99 + £6 p&p for the pair :augie

even with my mediocre maths that doesnt equate to £30 a pair or available last night :thumb2

Agreed :thumbs

I wouldn't waste my cash on cheap 1's as stated above,ya Dont want loose bits flying inside ya engine

I wont & wouldn't bother anyway,its a personal thing i supose... :nenau

Lets put this to bed..

Right boyo's

Here is the message from lou:

hi clone.jpg

Now thats done any ideas on how to remove the star clip in my wing mirrior?

I dont see what your point is about the message & "now thats done" whats done :nenau

Its very interesting that somewhere can sell an item less than trade buy in IF theyre repeatedly selling them and theyre 1st grade genuine items.

I couldnt sustain a business at that level, could you? One of yeah......repeated......hmmmm  thats probably why theyre up for a standard type auction a the mo ?

I spoke to her when she had one up for auction, then i think when th eprice rose above the £15 / £20 mark the penny dropped. Apparently she has access to a load ob black cabs?
