If the DMF is on it's way out, be careful as if it's been going for some time, it can damage the gearbox too.

Thanks mate I love these models look quite aggressive not sure what I'm going to use it for but once I've made sure everything is all good with the vehicle might consider doing a slight off road.

Only reason why I love these so much is I went out to Africa about 6 years ago & had a brand new hi-lux whilst I was out there but always kicked myself I should of rented out the brand new d40 Navara so years later bought my Navara.

Can't wait to pick the Pathfinder up, i'm thinking of putting a solid flywheel on it, what are your opinion on that?

Yep a few of the big boys convert dmf into single, although if you get a terrano its good to go :naughty

Terranos can certainly look aggressive too :sly

Ok I just did hpi report on it & looks like I won't be getting it, so that's obviously why he hid the vehicle registration on the advert!! How much would you say a Cat C version would be worth £2000!!

Bugger! Sorry to hear that bud.

Was gonna say DMF to Solid conversion all the way, that's what I did with my Trol and have no regrets, drive feels much more solid and direct in my opinion and you get a nice wee torque boost too. Whacked a HD Clutch in her at the same time :thumbs

Thank mate oh well win some lose some still can't get hold of bloke but not impressed especially when my family would of been going in there with me I know it could of been slightly minor but knowing my luck it was a bad 1 lol.

Yeah my Navara had standard dmf & clutch but my mate replaced hers with a solid flywheel & hd clutch & in all fairness there wasn't that much difference driving them.

Hmm ok so back to looking for a r51 Pathfinder lol.

Definitely mate it'd been hard earned cash down the drain in away, I hate people like him any ideas how I could warn anyone off that car as I thought you had to notify the new owners it's a Category car or am I wrong & just being to honest for my own good?
