Hi new to the site

Hi I am new to the site and I'm after some knowledge on what to look out for on a r51 Pathfinder?

I owned a d40 Navara which only had 60k on the clock & Fsh but I'm just going to view a r51 Pathfinder this week but with 98k on the clock with Psh.

The guy has been good enough to mention the Dmf is making a noise but are there any more things I need to look out for?

I hope I've put this in the correct section sorry if I haven't & any information would be very grateful.

Welcome, I'm sure the engines on these can let go of their crank or bearings and can throw a rod through the side of the block.
I believe there are garages that fit better bearings or caps, to stop this happening

Not sure, but it's a shame, because I do like them and may get one for the next tow car.

The Pathfinder shares a huge amount parts with the Navara same engine etc so probs are the same. I like them & might get one after my Terrano but put the good old bomb proof 2.7 in it

Yeah I've been told those 2.7 engines were bomb proof never understand it with manufacturer if it ain't broke don't fix it.
