Welcome, you have just joined the best 4x4 club by far.
Why not do it yourself, just jack it up (and use axle stands) as high as possible and get under there. :thumbs

Hi madspaniels. Welcome to a great forum.
As above get underneath and have a go yourself it will save you some money and you'll get satisfaction knowing it's done properly.

Nice to see safety first?.:thumb2

Welcome to the club, waxoyl is never ending, but works well, I have used it from day one, dare I say it..... over 19 years ago... lol :augie:augie
Easy to apply by brush... or sprayer if you have one, but you will get covered.

It works well, but it does need topping up, especially in high wash areas, like wheel arches, front suspension struts etc. Needs checking annually, but I keep a jar of waxoyl and a brush handy, so every time I work on the Mav, I take it with me.

Oh it will be once you see some of the trols on here :naughty

Welcome to the club matey, you'll love it here, the membership pays for itself ten fold as you will find out :thumb2 happy trolling :D

Oh p.s. Do the underselling yourself, that way it's done with love. I'm a nightmare with mechanical work but I did this and she's now solid underneath. Best to tackle it whilst it's clean and dry

Thanks for the welcome, being new to this what do you guys use to clean off the underneath before oiling please? Don't mind getting dirty and your right at least you know it's all done then. Hello to Clive in France.

I used a chemical called "truck wash" buy any good cleaner will do, just try to get something that wont upset rubbers ect. Give it a good blast/scrub underneath, then I recommend letting it dry for a few days. Last thing you want to do is trap water in the sills or similar.

Think I drove mine for about a week before the hammerite and underseal went on after the clean.

It's messy... Very messy... But So worth it.. I'll see if I can dig out my old link :thumb2
