Hi Folks...

Just been recommended this forum from a post on difflock.

Is this forum largely UK based?

Here's my troll. 2" iron man suspension... about it at the moment.

Also play with a couple of Suzuki's.

eyup :thumb2 , we have members from all over the world ...... even Lancashire :augie:lol

Hi ya mate, got a few troll's on here, but I have only ever worked on one and the lady is no longer a member, Rick

Hi.
More Trolls that's what we like to see:thumb2
Yours looks in remarkably good nik around the arches too.

Welcome bud :thumbs

I see Fez beat me to it to tell you about here! You might recognize my avatar :augie

Thanks all! Really happy with the thing. Yeah from what I've gathered rust-wise it's a pretty good one. Although some paint came off the arches when I tested out the pressure washer the other day.

Yeah I recognize the avatar Barrbeast - nice flex ;)

Yeah Fez got there. I didn't know his username over here to put his name in as the recommender when I signed up unfortunately.

Are many paying for the subscription over here? Struggling to see how I set an avatar...

Haynes manual arrived last night - feels like I really own it now :)

Started a thread on it over at difflock - which I might move over here. http://forum.difflock.com/viewtopic.php?p=766351#766351

Currently I'm doing a DIY job spraying the rims as they'd got a bit tatty. Figure if it doesn't take i'll get them done professionally but for the price difference it's worth a go.

Cheers bud :D

Yeh think pretty much everyone who replied so far is paid up, well worth it. Always plenty useful advice even if folk may not know the specific vehicle that well :thumb2

So just wanted to ask if anyone knows where snorkels fitting Y60 2.8TD can be bought? (UK)

But looks like I can't start a thread unless I pay?

So pay then!
It's worth every penny and being a member will get you enough discounts to offset the cost of joining. :D

What discounts are they? What do I get for my money beyond the ability to post?

I don't really get why this is a pay for forum when there are a lot of free ones out there... some of them might require you to make enough posts before you get full access but you can still make posts...

I'm not arguing if that's the way things are done here... I'd just like to understand what that £10 is getting spent on?

Rich, don't put a bottom line on this, you get an immense amount of experience, wisdom and help, way beyond a main dealer.
This forum is not hosted by a faceless American entity that relies on advertising, bling, or ego boosting likes and friends.
We all pay to support and maintain a site run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts.
If you don't feel like paying, you will miss out on a wealth of friendship, banter and gems of information on everything from socks to gas boilers, with Nissans at all stops inbetween..........stuff L`Oreal ..........We really are worth it.........:thumb2

I paid and I don't even have a Nissan yet!

I enjoy the content and I'm happy to pay to make sure it stays online.

You get the ability to read posts.
In this instance the ability to know where to find a snorkel for your vehicle.
An example of discount is discount from Milners, the price of a snorkel would probably get the subscription back.
But we're not just here for the discount, are we? To misquote someone, badly, it's not what the forum can do for you, it's what you can do for the forum.
Join and enjoy.
