I have been lurking in the shadows for a few weeks just browsing various thread and thought it was about time a said hi. I am getting another 4x4 in the coming weeks so have been doing a lot of research and every time I come back to a terrano. We've had 2 grand Cherokees, awesome off road, but need to buy your own petrol station. A 3.5 v8 classic rr. Don't ever actually remember it working and a 300 tdi disco, awesome machine but the wife and daughter were never very keen and it had a very bizarre and disturbing fault happen.

So I look forward to meeting a some new people and learning hospital to get the most out of my new vehicle, when I find the right one.

Hi and welcome aboard and Im sure by now you've discovered we are a pretty friendly bunch. Big thing to check when looking for a Terrano is rust, plenty out there though so Im sure you'll find one. Out of interest what was the bizzare fault on the disco, besides the oil leaks :lol:lol

Every time I hit a speed bump the whole thing swung violently to the right. I spent aged looking for the cause and it turned out the mount that goes from the offside inner wing and down to the gearbox had a huge spit through it that allowed the engine to move causing the front end to swing. Had to weld it all the way across.

welcome, so much more when you pay your fee

loads to read and so much to learn..
