Right folks Big help here wanted Locked all doors on Terrono tonight But did not notice my son had left one open Anyway slammed it shut Came back later to find the OSR Door will not open now Tried all sorts to get in Any idea without a big hammer

I had this happen once,it turned out to be the seat belt buckle trapped in the door,:doh just needed a good hard push from the inside while someone puling from outside

Firstly,is it unlocking , can you feel the clunk when you press the key fob ?
if it is then it must be the catch mechanism. I have never had my door cards off but there is usually a little pull rod or a cable between the handle and the catch,this could have come adrift if it was slammed hard,?:nenau

my guess is the child lock is on so preventing opening from inside, try pressing the outside release lever full in while at the same pushing the door shut hard, then open it, this often does the trick, if you get it open remove the card and look on the inside of the handle for a plastic round sort of knob it has several steps turn it to a thicker step to improve the lever action, Rick

If the child lock is on but the door isn't fully shut you might be able to get something like a plastic ruler through the gap to flick the child lock off:nenau

Thinking on, the child lock shouldn't affect opening from outside.
As jonela says, it sounds more like a mechanical failure in the door. Door card off and play around with a coat hanger.

he says he slammed it shut, my guess is that the outer lever was in need of adjustment and that poss the seat belt has caught in the door making it tighter than usual, so push door shut hard to release the pressure on the catch and operate the lever, Rick

If it's not as simple as Ricks idea then Dee needs to know how to remove the card with the door closed.

not possible without destroying the card, and even then if it is the lock itself it is still not easy to get it open, Rick

Have you tried disconnecting the battery to see if it has become out of sync with the other doors. Might be worth a try before you have to start ripping things apart.

Thanks all for advice. The only way was to cut door card :doh Got my hand in found the door catch all working A OK Anyway after prodding about found out it was the central door locking device So manage to undo some bolts and rods And bit of this And a bit of that And Bang door open :clap Anyway all done now But the outcome is i need a new door card Or door cards Anyone now of any please :bow Have to be black For a 2005 R20
