You are thinking of the ejector seat in 007's Aston Martin DB 5, now that was a car.:lol:lol

Briggie will know, he's good with his Knobs and switches.:lol

On the Mistral it is on the dash left of steering wheel, I think, Rick

did u sort it?

OD is quite useful....if you select what is jokingly known as "Sport" from the three-way switch on the dash (left of steering wheel i think) it goes a few more revs before changing up....with OD then switched off (dash light illuminated) it goes off the line quite rapidly actually....then just switch OD back on when it redlines.

also useful to hold the revs own a bit when coasting downhill.

just play, you'll work it out:thumb2

Sports mode eh! Well thats one thing the G.C aint got!
Its just permenently sporty!

I'd def say over-drive too. There is usually a button so you can turn it off when towing. I also flick mine off just as I hit a steep hill, takes it out of overdrive without changing down to the gear below. I find I dont have to put my foot down as much when climbing the hill that way! Then flick it back on after the peak to save fuel again.

Thanks all for the help, got it figured out, must have hit the switch with my leg :doh got a bit worried as was 50 mile away from home and didn't know what the dash was saying to me lol feel a bit thick now :homer
