Help - Where can I get...

The flex pipe on the clutch slave cylinder is weeping (as am I), the cause of my slow clutch fluid loss.
I've done all the usual net searches and checked Milners and KS but no trace can be found except a possible OEM bit in Ireland for 55 euros +vat.
Before I jump in and start using bits from something else that I may or may not be able to make fit, does anybody know of a source or a work around?
Sometimes I almost wish I'd bought a Landrover not really, but at least you can get parts for them but then again you need lots of parts for them

This might sound silly but try your local motor factors as many flex pipes are standard lengths/end fitting the motor factors have have look-up tables. Good luck.

Not silly at all, the problem is that the original part has a three way union on one end that allows for connection of the "clutch damper". Not something I've seen on any other vehicle.
However if needs be I will take the bit in and try and match the ends and leave the damper pipe disconnected.
The other problem is that I am off on a trip next Saturday and if I start on it MUST be ready to go Saturday morning.
If all else fails I will leave it alone and take a can of DOT 4 with me to top up as needed. It's not pouring out, just a very slow wetting.

they aren't hard to get, i'm sure milner do have them but you might need to call them. If not you can get a 'blue print' one from your local motor factor.

Definitely go OEM for this, from Nissan it's over £100

Thanks for that, I did try my local CES but he seemed a bit doubtful, "IF they've got one on stock I can get it overnight" but not in a very convincing sort of way.
I'll give Milners a ring Monday and failing that the factors.
Maybe I'm just in a bit of a panic, too close to leaving to be hunting parts.

Well, CES came up trumps. Nice new clutch hose fitted. About £20
The bleeder on the damper pipe was solid so after about 15 sec thought I popped a ball bearing in the fitting at the front to seal it off.
A quick bleed and all is well :clap
No noticeable effect on clutch operation with the damper pipe blocked.

Have got a similar problem as my clutch damper pipe has perforated due to corrosion. Hadn't considered a ballbearing! I was trying to find something to screw in instead of the flare fitting. Any suggestions anyone?

I just used the existing flare nut and put a suitable sized ball bearing under it.
There was enough thread to tighten down and form a good seal.

As for the dampner pipe I just blocked mine off by cutting it at the junction box end n heating the pipe up so much it welded itself shut course with a set of mole grips!

i got my fleix clutch pipe from local motor factors the part was made by blue print i think £24 all in:thumbs
