Do you have any other electrics, e.g, horn, head lights, hazards etc.

On the CCt diag, Page 6 on here there only seems to be a relay and a fuse between the ignition switch, and the dash.

I guess you need to see if the 12v is coming out the switch, into and out of the relay, and again the fuse... My guess would be a dodgy connection behind the relay or fuse holder.

Can anyone post the diagram on page 6 for me . Accessing on my phone and can't download

Thanks

Brian

tried saving it so I could add it as an attachment, but it saves the index page?????, not the diagram, anyone else? Rick

Lazy Ferret that is great better than I could do, but you only have half of the diagram, you need 7 as well, I do not mean to be critical but he only has half the info regards Rick

It's there... just scroll to the right... I even joined it together to make it easier to read...:lol

Oh so sorry LF I have never scrolled on this site before (that I can remember) I am not going ask how you did it, it will be over my head, Rick

It lives !!!!!!! One 10 amp fuse marked as meter . How did I miss that ???? Must have checked them 20 feckin times :lol

Wondering if this blew when I was trying to fix the ignition barrel. Cured one fault and caused another. Makes me feel better anyway :lol

could have done ,
might be an idea to disconnect the battery when messing about with the electrics :D:D

FYI the fuse that had popped and was stopping my car from starting was the one marked 'meter' .

And I thought that was just a redundant one left over from when they fitted this engine in Black cabs :lol :lol :lol

Brian

Well done, worth knowing for future reference, as you would not expect that one to stop the whole car...:clap
