Hello new to the group.
Right I have a major project with this one and any help will be gratefully received with info on fault and where to source parts or if anyone has them .

I bought a 2005 Nissan Terrano 3.0 manual diesel. The clutch pedal is stuck on the floor and it's jammed in gear but you can select some gears but when started it's always stuck in gear but it will free wheel aswell when trying to move? When you jack the back end up and start it it just then goes off spinning the back wheels??????????

I bought it off a millionaire farmer whom over the last 2 years has used it as a dog kennel, yes you heard that right a dog kennel.

Any info would be gratefully received before I start taking gearbox off etc. Also any who has a interior or any parts you see it needing for this or know where I can get one will be great.

Cheers Ricki.

check the clutch pedal hasn't broke where it bolts in under the steering column

Can't billeave they could do that to such a good car:jerkit:, Make sure you take plenty of pics so we can see your progress as you re build her:thumbs

WHAT. THE. HELL?!!?!

ok, on to more helpfulness! As Richo says, check the clutch pedal assembly under the steering wheel, open the bonnet and check the clutch master cylinder and look for fluid, leaks, etc etc.

being jammed in gear has nothing to do with the clutch, so this could be bad - remove the gearstick gaiter, and just check there isn't something jammed in there blocking the mechanism. Id also seriously consider dropping the gearbox oil and changing (same for clutch fluid, and rear diff). The rear wheels spinning is correct.

as for parts, jeeez you've got a job on there. A new interior should be very easy to source, but I really hope you didn't pay much for this car??!

best of luck, it does look like a great project, so long as that gearbox and clutch aren't knackered, because if they are you will be looking at many £££'s!

oh, also, check the clutch breather pipe - it come out the back end of the car

jammed in gear is easy, fix clutch and get someone to give ya a good tug :naughty when in gear and it should free it up if its jammed

Welcome to the club. Wow that is erm a bit grubby. You could start a thread in the projects section for us all to follow:thumb2
Good luck

Try to bleed the clutch system, have a look and see if there are any leaks from the system, if you can get the clutch working, you may be lucky with the gearbox.
Looks like it's had a hard life  there are guys on here who should be able to sort you out with seats and fittings.

if the rusty bits arnt rusty and the oily bits are oiled.
take seats out take carpets out and probably roof lining and door cards too.

and burn them.

buy some bucket seats and rubber mats that's the interior finished:thumbs

£600??

flipping bargain if you sort that gearbox out and get the car driving!

Interior will be a few hundred quid of course but thats nowt against the value of the car fixed up.

I have to admit, at £600 id have taken the risk too.

I think it's worth the risk the private plate comes with the vehicle aswell.
