Help needed in Dorset!!!

Hi all I'm new to the site and new to Nissans/4x4's.
I recently bought a Nissan D21 and have just put a Terrano 2.7 Turbo lump in it but now it whistles constantly. I'll be honest I was in way over my head and I think it is more down to luck than skill that it actually runs at all. Does anyone live in the Dorset area that would be willing to have a quick look over it and tell me where I've gone wrong?
Mechanically I think it's ok but I have some spare electrical plugs left over from the engine and as much as I keep trying to convince myself spare bits are good I don't think this is one of those times.

Are all your air take pipes sealed and have you put a fancy air filter on? I've heard of people with Terrano's with K&N Filters fitted that whistle too.

I'll have another look at the pipes but I just fitted the standard Terrano air filter
