HELP Gaters on CV's

On the advice I got from members about greesing me stering stops to stop them sticking .
While I was doing this I noticed the nearside stering gater was split!
What would you say about changing that? doo I need to change the drive C.V. at the same time ??? And is it an easey job???
(O) and buy the way we went to Buxton for this weekends rally and this motor flew up them there hills I am well impresed with its pulling power

steering gaiter or do you mean the rubber gaiter on the driveshaft?
