ok :augie
I'll be the 1 to say it :doh

Try it & you'll have your answer when you hear no sound or it wont start :D

approx 9 hours, depends how good your battery is.:thumb2

new..

they took the old one out at the last service and for got to put it back is, so sent me some money to get myself a new one

The conversion of Watts to Amps is governed by the equation Amps = Watts/Volts

For example 12 watts/12 volts = 1 amp

150 watts/12 volts = 12.5 amps,

if you have a 110Ah battery, (bear in mind that leisure batteries are designed for slow discharge,) the on-load voltage will remain constant until the battery approaches it's discharge capacity.

the battery will be 80% discharged after approximately 6.8 hours, around which the voltage will drop sgnificantly enough to stop the invertor from working.

Thanks Dave. been trying it, with the stuff ive got its just not LOUD enough..

so got to re think....

how about a generator ? eblag have plenty....... a little 2 stroke would do the job, about 500w peak.

Then a combined mixer - amplifier unit, pair of cheapo speakers, or hire them in from a local pa company?

Easy solution.
