Just a quick hello to all you Terrano owners.Mine is a 1998 2.7 TDi,78,000 on the clock and she's still a baby.Been off the road for 18 months so I put the battery on charge-nothing,so hooked her up to my good Ladys' car-two turns and VROOOOM,how good is that!Anyway hello.
PS How much can you expect to pay for a battery these days?
Regards

Welcome to the club.

Try Halfords, should be able to get a decent battery for £75 to £100 and their 5 Year no-fuss warranty is great. Only paid for two batteries out of my last 7 :)

Batteries are decidedly cheaper here in the UK than in Spain - had one fitted to my T2 by a company called Norauto in Marbella - 170 euros!!!!! Admittedly it was a Varta, but even so VERY expensive - a big mark-up methinks!

Make sure its upto the job, about 95Ah not sure on CCA rating but if its fairly hefty. look at specs for all suppliers. David

Yes be carefull as companies often try to sell you a cheaper battery but hasn't got the umf that is needed.

Welcome aboard, your motors hardly worn in mate:clap
