I intend to have a try at it this year, I can't do it commercially as i don't have the right facilities, but it will be fun trying. I am also looking for new 'livestock' ideas if anyone has any.

you'll be amazed how many chickens they can steal at the same time, a mate down the road from me lost 2000 in one night!

plucked from his land ? :augie ( omg my jokes are getting worse )

Well I have done quite well with turkeys buy in poults in the spring and free range till christmas first year and then breed on a few for the next year . I crossed bronze with norfolk blacks to get big strong birds. They are woodland birds as are chickens so natural cover is good .
i could never produce enough for the demand.
the same with local goats cheese really in demand I could sell all you could produce:thumbs but like you say it needs to be to a standard but you could sell on the milk to a producer of goats cheese? cutting the profit though.
Sheep cheese is selling well too do you milk your sheep?
Cut flowers is another thing ........sorry to bore you:)

cut flowers sound interesting, but i have the touch of death to all plants, but i an try :thumb2 they also sound harder for people to steal :augie

What varieties are selling, I have often fancied growing lavender, but I'm not sure of it's viability and it's a long term thing and i haven't much stick-at-it-ness.
