I've just got my small wheel based Terrano back from having a bit of welding done on the sill,as it is seventeen years old it needs a bit of TLC but it is still running well for it's age.:thumbs

17 years old, that's a fair old age for one of these things. I'd be surprised to find either a Mav or Terrano to beat that. Happy for someone to prove me wrong though. :D
I'd get some pics up sharpish before someone asks for them...
Welcome, it's a jolly little place this. :thumbs

Hi and welcome. 17 years old and still going strong. Well I too believe it is the oldest road going truck out there..........
No........ can't think of another:lol

Right.... that's it.... two names to add to my list...

:spanking:

:lol

Edit.... Welcome Dixie..

Welcome dixie, mine too is 17 years old and I have just replaced the sills and repaired a few other bits with the welder, rust is the only problem with these trucks, apart from the three litre or automatic ones :hide:, it's a bit tongue in cheek on here incase you hadn't realised :lol
Get some pics of your truck up, we like pics and you'll not hear the end of it until you do :D

Now I have heared rumours of a mysterious silver maverick in mint condition, supposedly over 20yrs old, information is very scarce though as the owner does not like to brag :D

Number Three on the list...:naughty

I reckon that silver mav is photoshopped.

:augie

Welcome to the forum, hope you've got a good sense of humour, 'cos there's plenty to go around.

This also loads of help and advice.

:thumb2

Mines coming up on 17 years old and still going strong:thumb2
Has had a bit of TLC over the years to keep it that way.
Plenty of these older trucks around,a guy that works in the factory next to me is running an N reg as his daily drive.

Welcome aboard:thumbs just a bit of banter on here:augie

Think mine was one of the older ones on here until it got written off. It was a great loss because we had had that truck for years but it saved my wife, if she had been in a smaller car she would of been a whole lot worse off. So these trucks pay you back for all the tlc when it counts.

Welcome mate their a good crowd on here and all the help you could need, Rick

Welcome bud :thumb2

Would just mention that my Patrol is 27 years old :augie... although it's had a few owners before me!

17!! it`s only a baby:D:D old reds 23:thumb2
even older than rustics silver dream machine
:hide:
:wasntme

but mine dosnt look like its just come out of the showroom like rustics it looks more like its done a tour of duty in syria.:doh

Thanks

Thanks everyone for the welcome, I think I posted this message in the wrong place - I'm a total novice where computers are concerned so I hope you will all bear with me! I will attempt to put a couple of pics on of my Terrano if I can figure out how. I have a problem with rust on the wings, anyone else got this problem?
