Not a question about my Mav for once.. My sons fiesta is on a x regd and the heater will only blow hot!! Have done the thermostat today no difference. Have been told it maybe the heater control valve..can anyone tell me any other possibilities?
Cheers Rich..

it could be the clip holding the heat control cable to heater box, they do come off now and again, can you hear the flap moving when you move lever? :thumb2

it could be worse, it could be stuck on cold, :lol :doh

Hi Tezzer, took controls panel off today and it all seems to be ok, the heat dial seems to be electronic as no cable attached or any attachment visible.
Rich..

hi there
most likely the heater valve which is under the bonnet on the bulk head in the middle
it hould have 4 pipes 2 from engine side and 2 from the bulk head side.
if you unplug the multi plug and check with a multimeter put probes in the plug with it running and turn heater control inside and the voltage should change if it dont its the valve and very easy to change
cheers eboy

i dont know the mate, have you access to a workshop manual? ;)

The stopped doing the good old plastic & metal push & pull system from the mk3 on wards :( more expense to repair as opposed to just pushing back on
