Hello everybody, haven't been using Sarah due to being busy with work, had this week off to spend with my boy :thumb2:D

I opened the drivers door to find a wet squelchy carpet in the foot well, from what I found from doing a search on here that is probably leaking in from under the wiper mech.

BUT...I could not find much on the cabin heater, mine won't blow hot. I put the fan on full and moved the heat control knob from hot to cold to hot and so on and I can hear a change of noise and slight drop of blower speed which I think means it is working ok and diverting air over the heater matrix, just no heat, I asked Rick quickly at Wales meet and he mentioned something about a hard to get to diaphram, anyone any ideas??? Thanks lads.

Going by what you're saying I'd say your heater matrix has gone. Have you checked the coolant level? Has it dropped?

check below the servo as if I remember there is a grommet for cables, this may be letting in the water.

stick your finger into the wet carpet and taste it if it tastes the same as your rad water then yes matrix or hoses/pipes have developed a leak, but and there is always a but, a leak will not stop the heater blowing hot air, if you look at the last pic in the linky put up by Rayf you will see the diaphragm I was talking about, whatever the whole dash has to come out to rectify any of those faults, best of luck, Rick

Rick.
The last time I had a matrix go (which was quite a few years back) it stopped blowing warm.
