My heated seat lights work but the seats don't get warm/hot, is there a fix for this, I've tried searching the forum but havn't found anything on them so assume it's not a common fault.
I fixed my flickering distorted speedo lcd today so I'm not afraid to use a soldering iron :D just need to sort the radio lcd now :doh and both fob's don't work, I found the lock microswitch off on both of them and soldered them back on and tried the method in the quick links page and brand new batteries :(

My drivers seat don't heat up much but the passenger side does, not sure what the problem is though

have you tried checking the plug / socket under the seat , mine became loose on my bighorn and the light still came on , but seats didnt get hot .... they do now :naughty

Will go and look now Briggie :thumb2

I've just checked the fuse and socket's on the bottom of both seat's and the plug's are on secure and the fuse is in working order, so now it's just a mystery :D

One works one not, right?

Unplug both

Check resistance on both seats

Also check you have feed to both plugs

If nr me pop along ive my meter at home

Neither seat gets hot in my truck
I'll get round to testing the resistance when I get more time, do you know what it should read at all ?

Nope butim sure some one will

They'll be what they are when I test them then :D, it's only going to be 2 wires so if it comes to it I could run them from the battery/ignition live through a separate relay if I couldn't find the fault.

a good idea would be to check you have voltage at the connector

I assume there will only be voltage at the plug with the ignition on and the seat button pressed.
