Just fitted some osram nightbreaker +90% bulbs. not made much differance, anyone any ideas on better lighting without fitting spots?

What shape you got (stick it in your signature, make life easier in future) I found having my lights properly aligned made a big difference, as did fitting new headlight units, 1 got smashed so I had to change it, the difference was massive so I looked for another cheap on ebay and changed that too.

It can be worth cleaning them out use window cleaner and a bit of rag on a stick, then rinse with really hot water from the tap before drying them in the airing cupboard.

hi
i found my lights improved once i had raised the front end back to its correct height (or there abouts).the light seemed to spread better once i had done this, and also re set the lights on light guage at mot station.
i think some one had raised the lights at some point to try to correct low aim point.

ps .
remember if you up grade your lights, to keep an eye on the connectors at back of bulbs as these can over heat with none standard wattage bulbs.

Forgot to mention the lights are round . just got in from changing the altonator belt ,It snapped and shredded itself around the fan. also replaced power steering pump belt whilst I was at it. Perhaps this might have had somthing to do with my lighting problem?
