Headlight bulb

Hi there,

I need a new headlight bulb for my X plate Terrano (rectangular headlights).

Does anyone know what bulb I need? Anything special or just a standard bulb?

Think they are H4 501 just normal headlight bulb,think you can get xenon gas ones but they will be more expensive!!,
If you can wait,you can get them cheap of the bay!! :lol:

SPOT ON cosmic your'e right, like you say you can get cheap (£4.99 +P+P) on the bay only couple quid postage and what a difference.......... brighter or what!!!!!!

Haven't got my xenon gas headlights yet!!,should make a difference,had the proper xenon gas headlights in my old Renault Laguna.what a difference!! 8)

When buying bulbs get Phillips, Osram or GE, no others are made to OE spec, many are reboxed far east imports even most of the big names don't make their own bulbs. Eve with Osram you need to check you're getting the German made bulbs not the far east imports.

I got 2 Ring Xeon headlight bulbs from motor world for £10. They may not be the best but did make a lot of difference :smile: But next time i'll prob follow what HB has said
