headlight adjustment

hi all,
2nd query for my 03 2.7 T2.
the headlamps have the electric hieght adjustment motors on them, and they appear to be connected up to wiring loom under bonnet too.
But theres no switch for them in cab.
I can find a 3 wire connector plug near wing mirror adjuster but no swith for headlamps.
should it have one?
is this the wire for it?
I think its an SE version and got aircon, electric windows and mirrors etc.

Don't know about the 03 models but on the 00 model there is a small circular wheel thing on the drivers side between the strreing wheel and the door below the air vent with numbers on it that adjusts the lights.

dont suppose you know how many wires on back of yours do you?

Not a clue. Will see if I can pop it out and have a look for you. Be back in a few minutes.

Four wires, 1 black, 1 red, 2 green but one of the greens looks like it has a yellow stripe on it. It should be just above the cover for the fuse panel and right beside the button for adjusting the electric mirrors. What do you have there if there is no knob for adjusting the lights?

yes there should be a 3 or 4 position switch to the left of the mirror switch, I have not got one spare (I am breaking a Mk1) Rick

this 1 owner from new and full service history genuine truck is begining to look more and more dodgy!
Theres a blanking plate over where switch should be.
ive only got 3 wires, red with blue strip and 2 greens with blue and black stripes.
and the plug could def of taken another wire as has 4 slots/holes.

another job now to find the missing wire.

do not go getting too upset, yours is a later model so most likely they up graded and either used some electric wizardry or gave you less selections, I would be contacting Nissan parts and find out what a switch costs and how many wires it has, Rick
