Jim if it's on contract why not get the phone changed/fixed that's one of the main benefits of contract surely. I dropped mine in a toilet I was fitting last year :doh
Man on a bike brought me new one next morning. Also at the end of my contracts I always get a replacement phone so I have new one to pass on to family etc.
I just tell them it crashes all the time and yes I'very done all the upgrades and switched it off and on again black black. New phone on a bike. Brilliant.

Dont really want to take on another contract. Want to go onto a sim only 30 day rolling contract after my last payment on this. With a two year contract you only get the standard manufacturers warranty and the get out of jail card is dead easy its software blah blah blah.

My sons away on a course but when hes back Ill get him to root it and see how it goes simply because that is the cheapest way to go for now. If that doesnt work Ill see how much I can get another phone for.
