Had a busy day today went to visit Rick in Bexhill and he helped me out with a few parts I was missing and his advice to fix my left hand headlight, was looking for relay F111 well its not there so I guess there are various versions of wiring diagram turned out to be the switch after cleaning contacts all working well now

I am wanting a dimmer switch to the panel lights as need to turn them off , well I have a good reason , on the left hand side of steering wheel there is a switch to turn off the alarm sensor's inside , next to this switch is a blank plate ! behind the panel there is a socket that is not used apart from a black link wire linking 2 pins I am thinking this may be for a dimmer switch plug for use on the more upmarket models has anyone any ideas

It is indeed for a dimmer switch, I had a play with the one on mine, but I have never found one on a Terrano... I think you need to look at the Maverick, and I think there is a guy on here, may be Rustic, who has had one for a while... 10 or 20 years I think... he might be able to tell you if his has one... :naughty:augie

Yes my Maverick GLX has one, just to the right of the steering wheel below the speedo cluster etc.
It was there when I bought the Mav... and is still there 20 1/2 years later lol...:thumb2 :lol
Maybe not all Mavs had this feature.

Glad it worked OK, think you were lucky, perelarr in Belgium was asking about bulbs for hazard switch and I posted a pic of the bulb, have since discovered that all of the Haz switches I have, have different plugs and many do not have such easy access to the bulb:doh, Rick
