keep seeing this on youtube n was wondering if anyone has ever tried stanage uphill as it looks as severe as this!

just wondering cos i think this guy must be an idiot, these trucks as far as my experience goes is capable of this if done right :nenau

Chap From another forum has done hollingsclough going up, which is a lot more severe than that, the guy in that video is a total numpty.

You need a good spotter and to pick your line well, just going flat out and like that you will destroy something., and let your tyres down to about 15 psi or less if they'll do it

traffic regulation order.

about 20 years ago I was going to give it a go, long before the tro
but a clutch/ gearbox problem along with some aggressive ramblers
forced a turn around. fortunately a ranger on foot came to my
assistance pointing out to the bobblies I did have a right to be there
in my old rangey.

ahh ok, thats pants, yeah i did think there was defo a beta way up that. stupid people:doh

I thought it was a voluntary one way tro  so technically you can do it but you'd be as welcome as a fart in a lift :lol

Re: one way order.
So what happens if you have done a quarter of it, and chicken out, or due to any other reason, you have to turn back, assuming you can turn around? :nenau

Chaos rules ofcourse, but that's one of the reasons for a voluntary one way tro, I think
What should happen if some one was to go up it is ; someone else has be at the top to hold off all the good people going down. That way when Mr Awkward gets to the top , he can be suitably pillaged and raped
