Yes,pity really as it could be an opportunity for the English to celebrate. After all, the Scottish,Welsh and Irish all have their day so why not the English? Anyway, a very Happy St George's Day to all the ENGLISh on here, have a good one.

off caravaning to Scotland in half an hour, have flag in car ,but, will I dare to fly it there?

I see lots of Welsh, Scots and Irish flags flying in England but Im not sure how my St George flag will go down in scotland.
When I was in France I was attacked for burning Joan d Arc.......and that was 400 years ago.
My wife is complaining I have put on my jumper back to front! she thinks I am going senile....
I have told her its the custom in Lancashire to wear your clothes back to front on St Georges day.... Im not sure that she believes me. regards bri..

Goes back to not wanting to offend other minority groups, otherwise known as policitical correctness. My mate Nick gets really p....d of that it is not celebrated. Have to say I agree with him.
