from black circles and the only tyre i can find which meets their recommended 107T spec
for my lwb mk4 tdi terrano2.

quite like look of tyre, seen one on a 4-runner and looks more aggressive than the
picture on bc site.

looking at this as an alternative too the extinct grabber at2.

funny that the t2 came with bridgestone 689s which dont appear to meet required spec.
nor do the currently mounted mix of insa turbo mountains.

any thoughts how how legal it is to go under the suggested load rating providing
stay well above actual axle load/2 and as for speed reckon even a 99mph Q rating
would suffice for this wagon.

Maybe not quite as much fresh air in the tread as a General AT2 or BFG AT
but shoulders seem to have some square edge bite and theres grip on the
side wall. again not too clear.

Any idea where black circles get that specification of 107T from? Seems a bit idealistic!

BC and another site I used perhaps etyres or something
both took my reg and gave 107T.

Mind another site said be wary of sites that take your
reg! but these things generally work at dealerships and
parts companies.

What am I looking into much Franz, dont want to spend
£400 on tyres only to upset insurer.

Just asked local tyre shop who didnt ask for reg just
size and quoted the 689s and a Perelli STR which aint
bad at £416 fitted but a bit too road orientated.
Really want AT or MT again if can define these load
and speed definitions.

Like these too a 50/50

well 60/40 Cooper say (off road/ on road)

can get them fitted for about £7 each more
from a local tyre shop.

fancied stt's for troll but not done in t2 size.

still these look an as good a quality as the
grabber at2 cant get, maybe bit more
aggressive, when had the old t2 on 15"s
was toying with KL71s to replace the AT2s.

Just hope can get the ST as Camskill reckon
out of stock.

Reading on a US tire review site that Cooper
along with Goodyear are only 2 truely home
owned tyre companies.

And Cooper are not found as oem so are more
aggressive dollar for dollar too. talk of a 50K mile
life is tempting.

well fantastic, not.

ordered cooper st, and due to fit them wednesday

now seller says cant get 'em, back to square one!

of other stuff they list could put up with a cooper
atr, though its a 40/60 rather than 60/40 (off/on road)

or may ask if he can get me a deal on bfg at.

just got back thru my other thread on at2 and the
goodyear at/sa is growing on me, mind reckon they
are about same price as the bfg at.

had budgeted for £100 a corner fitted but black
circles want 130 fitted on these two.....
