You know your not supposed to touch Halogen Bulbs with bare hands. What does it do? and does it shorten the life of the bulb and by how much?

PS You can't help but touch the bulb when you change a bulb on a Scenic:doh Don't say rubber gloves because the gloves get ripped as does your skin.

The oils and moisture on your fingers can cause heating irreguarities in the glass and cause them to crack. If they don't go during the first use you should be ok.

I've touched em before and never had one go. A quick wipe, preferebly with some meths or an alcohol wipe but a dry clean cloth will do - kitcen roll etc.

Trust me it's in it aint coming out unless it goes. Each time I start mellowing to that dam Scenic summat goes wrong to remove those rose tinted glasses:eek:

I had to remove the washer bottle filler kneck to change the OS bulb. Renault say to change the NS you have to remove the NSF wheel and then the plastic wheel arch guard:confused:

It makes me appreciate the T2
