Did you mean RG58? And solder the PL259 aerial plug on the coax but chances are it'll already have a plug fitted when you get an aerial mounting.
Briggie is our resident CB expert, he must be busy with his grand children as he would normally of jumped on this thread to offer some cracking advice.
If you are thinking of a CB ask yourself what you want it for? If it's short distance stuff consider a hand held as it's less mucking about. Careful radio equipment on ebay as I've seen radios that are described as radios and clearly aren't. Anything that transmits and receives voices is a CB to a lot of people but actually isn't on the CB frequencies.
