It would help if the Terrano was heavier in that instance also with having the strap on the tow bar & it being so low it is lifting the a** of the Terrano & pulling the a** of the landrover down which also doesn't help the Terrano.

Yes I agree with that comment, the Terrano rear is being lifted, also it starts off lower too.
Probably the Terrano has bald tyres on sand ...:nenau who knows...:lol

Question..
How much does tyre pressure play in such a synario, we should do a similar video, with our setup of the conditions...:nenau

Luckily we don't find ourselves in this situation normally, so who really cares...:nenau

Mainly weight is issue there you can see that with just the size difference. How about a reliability test lol keep driving till one stops I know where my money would be lol

Tyre pressures make a huge difference. It's about getting as much rubber on the ground.

Yeah for sure!!!!! Have you all seen the Defender vs Dodge Ram one too? It's a ridiculous video the Defender pulls it around like a toy as it's rear wheel drive and no weight over the back axle being a pickup :doh

Have seen that video a few times totally unfair as you say the dodge was only RWD if it had been a 4WD version it would have pulled the back of the LR off:lol:lol That T2 looked are if it had just road tyres on so no wonder it got dragged as it had no grip might have been a different story if it had chunky AT's or muds on:augie on the plus side us R20 owners don't have to spend every weekend fixing ours motors:lol:lol:lol

I drove through a flood last night which I REALLY shouldn't have, came over headlights, I have no snorkel I just took the plastic bit out of wheel arch, it wouldn't rev above 1500rpm, I limped it to my dads which wasn't far. There was water in the air filter, I turned it off and started it again and it she ran like nothing had happened!!!!

On my way to my dads limping it, a recovery truck passed the opposite way with a new looking defender on it :lol

Had water over the bonnet on my MK2 T2 a few times without any problems mut on the MK3&4's i've noticed water can pass between the headlight & the indicator straight into the intake unlike the older ones luckily my headlight protectors cover the gap by about 90%

That's a thought, where did you get them??

Well most LR's start their life on one of these...
So I always think... Better get used to that..

That landy has some smoke so it's poked . Also much bigger tyres that will help with gearing . As said the towing angle wont help the T2 either.
All that said, it's never meant to be fair :lol
Give us a go , go on, I could do that :sly

I reckon mine would have pulled that Defender round like a rag doll!!!!! :sly
