right, first job of the day was to:
re fit negative battery clamp
re fit smaller ground wire from engine to inner wing
fix starter motor connection as the plug is loose.
so, off I went. Took the battery out and re routed all cables correctly, then removed the negative battery clamp, which it turns out is upside down, and filthy,so, cleaned up and re attached the clamp.
Removed the earth from engine to inner wing, and re sighted further in on some nicer metal.
Couldnt find any other way of making the starter plug stay in place, so I glued it on.:lol
anyhoo, that all took me a while, as I was thorough, started car up, looking great (noted rear exhaust mount broke, so cable tied)
everything idles a bit nicer, feels sharper. Took for a test drive, only a few miles, again all feels good, but only more driving and time, will tell!
now, off to order a new exhaust mount, then do some wiggling of wires in the engine bay.
