cheers cameraman

been speaking to a l*** r**** owner he mention a lane called pedlers way? runs about 25/30 miles starting at thetford he thinks? as anyone heard of this lane, i will try to find out a bit more about it when i have more time (busy with our new venture just brought a caravan/campsite in need of a bit of tlc?)

cheers

gary

If I remember right they covered Pedlers Way in 4X4 mag last month or the month before, they did say it got narrow at times & you had to cut back onto the roads now & again due to blockages

The vast majority but not all of Peddars way is open and driveable. I drove about 99% of what was open last year, only found one section that was inpenitarable due to foilage growth.

The bottom picture of my car(in the post above) was on Peddars way.

Hi gary get intouch with Breckland land rover owners they are the local 4x4 rescue team they know all the good lanes I am over at Hunstanton only the pedders way over here and not sure about useing it. I ride it never seen any 4x4s on it. It is quite narrow in parts Ill check out my end and let you know
Anyway nice to talk to someone in this area when you going to join the club:thumbs

me and a few of my mates are usually out and about in the north walsham area. theres some good lanes out by reepham but there not for the faith hearted!!

if youre interested in playing on offroad sites, im part of the norfolk rhinos. there primarily a suzuki club but all marques are very welcome

ok an update
pedders way is only open to 4x4s in parts not the whole of it.
At my end its a no go for most of it but small parts are ok not a days drive though so ..... more interesting routes else where i think.

theres a voluntary restraint on one part of peddars way ref TF 754-293 to TF 748-309, and obviously north of TF 727-356 thats all footpath. i agree willow, there are plenty more lanes in that area that are more interesting

Hi all Norfolk dwellers

Anyone out there want to meet up for a drink to say hello .

Hunsanton area?

:)

Put a route together & i'll come down for a play & pub :thumbs

Hi Adz
