It is with great sadness I inform you lot

I've sold my Terrano!

However it is to an ex member.... so my guess he'll be back.
Austin Welsh will be collecting some time in May.

What have you replaced it with?

Thought you were a lifer!

Time and tide, my friend.

Nothing yet eek!!

But looking at the Nissan note.

I wouod keep but tax, MOT, mpg have put an end, can't afford to run two cars.

I don't believe it, I WON'T believe it!!! Aww man this is worse than when boyzone split up :(

In our house the jury is out on that one lol... :lol:lol

You have to remember, this forum is not just about owning a Terrano, Patrol or a Maverick, it's also about friendship and relationships that we have built up between us.
Where else would people talk to forum friends about their own personal issues.

With what I am going through with my health, to be honest, I couldn't get through it without the support of this forum, and the "keyboard friends" I have made over the years. I must thank you all for that. :clap:clap

I would hope that Zippy stays on board with us, after all, he is our main caravan guru, with a vast amount of knowledge and experience.

I have suggested this before, but is there a way that ex Terrano owners etc can have a reduced subscription, after all, if they left, there would be no subscription anyway, so something is better than nothing.

Maybe restrict the privilege to members who have been members for say a minimum of 5 years, and have made a minimum number of posts, say 500 in that time.
They could be called either associate members, or honorary members and pay a reduced fee, say £5
OK money is not the main driving force to be a member of this forum, but if we can keep the main core members, this forum will remain one of the best forums on the internet.

Just a thought.

Great news from a great member. Briggie has also paved the way to show what friendship really means. :thumb2

Anyway, we want to find out how good these Nissan Notes really are. :lol

Economy in running a vehicle is key, next to a mortgage or rent, it's one of the highest expenditures.

My dad's had one for coming up on three years now and only problem he has had was the auto adjuster on the aux belts.
Other than that he has had trouble free cheap motoring.

A work friend of mine bought a Nissan Note Diesel for his wife and she had it for 4 years and it was reliable and economical from my memory it was a 57 plate.

Only reason she changed was for something bigger to cart the Grandkids around in.
