a government that steers the ship of state thro' troubled waters and gives 'us' some confidence that it knows what it's about .... I would like to be able to read reported government activites and not wonder what they're hiding or even if they're telling the truth .... I'd like to see government ministers acting with some dignity and reserve and at least (or pretending) to have some idea of ethics and morals and not acting like they're in a frelling soap opera ...... it's not too much to ask is it ?
