yep wind them torsions up the front looks a bit low anyway :thumb2

wind the front bars up until you raise the rear, looks good :thumb2

yea, i`ve noticed this,
when you wind the front up it seems to also lift the back a little,

does n`t make sense but i`ve a done a few and that's the result i got

or is it an optical illusion ?

everyone seem to talk alot about winding the front up, its somthing i want to do but for the life of me i cant seem to get my head around how to do it and i darent get stuck in on my own with out a clue or ill break something or lose it and beat it to death with a hammer :lol. is there a link anywhere to show how to do it?

Nope, you are right, I raised mine by an inch and a half and then measured all round again and the rear had gone up an inch as well :lol

I was exactly like this and must have started at least 4 different threads asking how to do it, I took loads of advice and it scared me even more!!!!

I downloaded the workshop download, printed it out, got under the truck and then it all made sense

there is a link somewhere. basically if you look under the truck, around about where your front seats are there are the 2 torsion bars. where these bars end are 2 large bolts. give them a good soaking over the course of a week before adjusting. above the chasis rail are 2 19mm?nuts, un crack the lock nut, and then lock the nut underneath with a spanner, get a good length ratchet and turn the bolt from underneath. 4 turns is approx 20mm, make note of how many turns and do the same on the other side. it will become clear once you look underneath.

That's just adjustment, I re-indexed!!!!!

:thumbslooking good:thumbs
fit a pair of long wheelbase rear coils and this will give you approx. 1 1/2 lift then wind the torsions up to suit.
just sold 2 pairs of rear coils(if I ever get a price back from carriers to ship them)
to a couple of members on here.

banshee pm me your postal address so I can get these washers posted off to you:thumbs

Cheers I'm quite happy with them but she's definitely Getting lifted soon. Pulled the passenger side inner guard out on the way home from work tonight cause it rubs so much.
