Is that true, on for up to 10 mins after start up?I was under standing that they went off after the yellow light on dash. Laurie.
the light on the dash is there only to tell you that they are hot enough to start the engine, but they stay on until the engine attains a certain temperature, to ensure good running and reduce smoke and emissions, this is much more important on turbo engines as the compression ratio is lower so the compression temperature is lower, Rick
