hi there lads and lasses, i hope your Terrano is more healthy than ours ?
i don't believe that the jinx of my daughters previous two motors (daihatsu four tracks) has followed he to her to her latest acquisition a 10 year old Terrano.
It broke down monday night, the RAC came out to solve a Clutch problem, he diagnosed the Clutch Master Cylinder is Kaput !!
To add to the already grim situation it refused to start, diagnosed as Fuel Pump, confirmed by a light blinking on the dashboard, "check error codes" etc.
I had it recovered the following day to a local garage, they confirmed the Fuel Pump as the MAIN problem, BUT first they have to take it to the nearest large town (LUTON) where they have the facility to Test the Fuel Pump with a code reader, and i don't believe the worst case senario is £1500 !!!!, and that is without the Clutch Master Cylinder being fixed.
Not going to be a Happy Christmas in my house !!!.
