Getting into your Maverick

i have the GLS maverick and I have been thinking about the security of the vehicle. I have only one door lock on the car-drivers door, thats it. isnt that odd? Am I missing something? Is it worh fitting a remote for the central locking?

I am sure you must have central locking, my t2 sr same year has, If you operate the drivers door lock button then all your doors should lock, or unlock......central locking...... then you just need a remote unit to attach to your key. I understand that only the RH drive models have only one keyhole....or so I am told. regards bri

hi guys, yeah i defo have central locking, but no remote fob, thing is, how do i know if i SHOULD have a remote fob, did they all come with it? If so, i will buy one asap!

as for Meltham, few miles away, what colour mav you got, will keep an eye out for you

if i buy oneof the Terrano 2 button fobs from ebay, will they program for themav? i would have thought so but better check....

didnt work on my mav. but mine has aftermarket alarm so i think it messed that up on mine

not heard of anyone having my problem , so id give it a punt
or wait a few days and see if you can get a cheep one here

ok, so the programming is there, but which fob? I am 99% confident it will be one of the two button fobs from ebay, but can anyone confirm? Would be wicked to have a remote!

Ours is a GLS as no fob, got a cheap alarm from Flebay works on that now.

Went to our main agent about it and all they said was, well not alot really :doh

crazy!! i cant believe it. Anyway, its not too bad, you can buy aftermarket remote control for cars with central locking-so no messing with the immobiliseror existing alarm. i will get one of them!

My GLS is the same, were would you get one of these aftermarket jobbies from ?? I'd like one too !!!
