Get removal 2.4 petrol

Hi, I have finally got round to fitting the exhaust and I have blanked the egr piece on the exhaust off, the pipe it connects Toni have just juberlee clipped a blank in there do the time being. I want I remove the whole lot, just wondered wht else I need to do? I've never touched these before so haven't got a clue!

Yes, this is something I want to do.

I have a piece of copper plate to cut and put in-line, but not really sure what to do either.

There are two exhaust problems with the 2.4, first the pipe on the nearside that goes to the air filter, but the other is more important as it goes round the back of the engine direct into the intake manifold via a valve, this valve sticks open, to cure it you have to insert a thin metal sheet/gasket, but not easy to get to, I will stop here as too pissed to explain more, if you need more info then get back to me, Rick

I also must remember to ask you about the big black metal container with all the pipes going to it, on the left side of engine bay. (I want it gone:nenau)

Mmmm. big black metal container Left side of the engine? are you talking about the plastic round container next to the air filter on the right of the engine as you look at the car from the front? Rick
