When changing from third to fourth gear its got a bit difficult to engage fourth gear, it's ok when changing down from fifth to fourth, it's only when changing up from third to fourth. When changing from Ist, 2nd, 3rd nice and smooth

Also what should the free play on the clutch pedal be before you feel resistance ? I have around 1inch before the clutch comes into play.

Could the type of gearbox oil have any influence on this.

i think willow has teh same kind of trouble. search her the help shes had, might help you out.
