gearbox fixed

Well after 2 weeks I finally got my truck back from the garage after they fitted another gearbox for me, only problem is the Speedo and odometer has stopped working, I assume the sensor on the gearbox they fitted is faulty, anyone else had this problem ?
Anyway as a treat I drove the roadbook from this month total off road magazine, great green lanes and great weather, wife even managed to navigate successfully.

Good stuff mate, nice to hear you're back on the road, it's horrible to be without your truck!!!

Do you have a spare sensor? Or is it attached to the truck?

I've just come back from the Isle of Man and my girlfriend was surprisingly good at map reading :thumb2, she was telling me what should be coming up soon and avoiding the TT Course as the Grand Prix was on, I even surprised her and asked her for a 6 figure grid reference of our current location and she reeled it straight off

I plan to pop back to the garage tomorrow and get the one from the gearbox they removed and swap them over to see if that cures it

contact the garage asap to get the old one of your box before they bin it, Rick

So did a 2.7 gearbox fit in the end :nenau

Ah thats a good point on the 2.7

I got a gearbox from another 3.0, so don't know if the 2.7 would have fitted.
