I just have a quick question about gearbox compatibility.
I have a '95 SWB Terrano that I need to find a new gearbox for.
I assume the gearboxes for the 2.4 petrol and 3.0 tdi engines are different?
Will the gearbox from the later 2.7tdi models fit? or did they change the box as well?
I would guess the LWB and SWB models have the same gearbox (justb different length propshafts, is this correct?
I.e. I would like to know what will and what won't fit, so I know what to look for.
