gearbox bearings

hi i just taken the mavvy down to a transmission place near me and they reckon the bearings are gone.... :-( can anyone help with the repair or recomend anywhere relativly close to milton keynes???

Here's what t done when my transmission blew up. There's 2 ways of doing it. You could put a recon box in or have bearings replaced. I put a box in from my other scrap terrano. I'm not sure what sort of price a bearing job Is though.

time is money and to strip a box and fit new bearings, if that is all it is? far too much money methinks, you should find a used box for reasonable money, try cncfabs, Rick

Well that is not bad, I would still go for buying an MOT fail and then selling the rest of as well but that is me, Rick
