bet if you clean round rear stiff youll find sticker saying lsd oil only all mine so far have had one just gets covered in road crud so u cant see it

i didnt know it either till i stripped a rally car i got given to settle a debt opened gearbox just for a nosey and ohh thats not a grp n diff cleaned it up and saip ap suretrac

we bit of a nosey later asked a few questions and was told it was a good mechanical lsd lot better than quaife. wee trip to local ap man he said the same except for some unknown reaso ap sold the rights to a far east crowd and it dissapeared :(

think i'll get some millers for her then when i take the old calipers back..

youd think a big company like comma at least would have their catalogues right!!!!!!!!!

Now you remind the old grey sells I remember the suretrac but as you say they dissappeared.

Millers will be pretty expensive, I used Carlube stuff in mine, probably wouldn't put it in a rally car (can get Sikolene Syntran 5 at good prices for those) but fine for the Maverick. Might go to Castrol B373 for the rear diff next time for extra lock up, but its not really a road oil, but mines not really a road truck either.

Where you from btw and who's your local AP man? Alan Brown?

no i'm over in northern ireland theres a fella in larne does race prep called fred crawford sorta old school but 1 of those that if its about motorsport and he dont know it its not worth knowing

i get BIG discount on all my stuff worked for the 2 biggest suppliers to motorfactors over here and still get extremly good discounts so the millars dont work out 2 bad

Your man Fred probably buys from Alan Brown, Qusestmead. He/they are the AP and Mintex motorsport distributors for UK.

likely but bein over here its usually handier and cheaper to go through what seems to be a 3rd person which seems a very strange situation!!!!!!!!

that and the fact if something gets ordered wrong lot easier to go up the road than post back across the river
