Hi,
I have recently purchased a Terrano 2 Se 2.7tdi so have found this site and joined up!
My first question is -how do you remove the gear knob-it does not seem to be screwed on but didn't want to put too much pressure on it!
Cheers,
Fred

They are deff screwed on but when I removed mine I noticed that there was glue on the bottom threads:augieIt takes quiet a twist to free it:thumb2

I suspected that was the case but didn,t want to take a pair of mole grips to it until I was sure-thanks to everyone who answered!!

the leather covering has come apart at the seams and as the car will be mainly used by my wife I thought I would put on a new one!!

ah, oh well, same as mine. I was looking at one thats lights up. shes always inthe wrong gear.. ( dont tell her i said that! )

now why didn't I think of that-a gear knob that flashes?! In fact the possibilities are endless-what about one that talks "up and across" etc etc-may be a bit too far but my wife is blonde!!
Anyone out there good at marketing -there could be a business opportunity here!

no good getting my missus a talking knob, it would'nt get a word in edge ways.:doh
