Gave the old girl a quick wash and polish this morning, seen a lot of cars much younger in a lot worse condition.... I don't think it scrubs up too bad for a 16 year old car, of course I am biased lol

Only thing I would change is the length, I do quite fancy a SWB one, don't ask me why but I just like the look of them.

Yes, looks goooood!!!! My swb T2 is the same age and it too is in ammazing condition for the year,appart from the fact that,its not running at the moment ! lol

Didn't build mine well!
The metal in the inner wings and bulkhead is thinner than paper, that's why it's gone rotten as poo!

thats my line too, usually for mot.

both swb and lwb are smart, think thy look similar as it one evolved from the other,
the lwb doesnt just look like another door and pillar were added.

also back in the day the 4x4 press felt that the swb would attract many into offroading
from the (hot) hatch brigade.
