funny smell

ive got a funny metal type smell when ever i switch my air con on .... i have to put the aircon on to clear all the mist from the windows ..the smell is worse when ive stopped the engine and just sat in the car ... or when ive just got into it ..... like i said the smell is a strong metal type smell .... no warning lights on dash .... temp normal ( perhaps a little low actually ) ........ ideas ? :nenau

stick a can of aircon sanitizer through the air inlet see if that helps

I recharged your air con when we did the drive plate, I seem to recall you have had it done since, if so once or more, I say because you must have a leak, if this leak is inside the car although the gas has no smell the oil does, so this maybe what you are smelling, Rick
