On the way home from work today & noticed my brake pedal was going down further & went all the way when I kept my foot on it.
This is not good I thought. Got home ok as I was only around a mile from home.
Parked up on the drive, popped bonnet & had a look all round underneath
Bosted rear nearside brake pipe. Onto to phone to my garage that does all my MOT's.
Pop round with your old one & I'll make one up for you

Fitted new pipe & bled offside ok, nearside nipple has rounded off, because it's rusted to hell. I managed to undo & nip up a few times, before it finally gave up.
Why in the £"%) don't use stainless ones
I have a very small amount of air in the nearside pipe which I can cope with.
I'm gonna get a set of nipples & bleed the whole system over the weekend.
The fluid looks quite old & dark.

What size should the bleed nipples be as I seem to have two different Imperial sizes :nenau

Exactly the same happened to me, ended up replacing all brake lines. Since I had to bleed it anyway I also replaced the rubber ones to the front calipers.

If I remember correctly, 10mm size nipples...

I had quite a bit of trouble sourcing a couple of bleed nipples for the front brakes, It had 2 different nipples in anyway, managed to buy the last 2 from my third parts store I tried, I was told apparently most parts stores will not stock bleed nipples anymore & garages will replace the whole part ie caliper. So if you get some get a couple for spares. Also there are many different types not just thread but length & design. The ones I used were meant for ford transit but they work ok :thumbs

you do not need bleed nipples on a T2, I have never ever even tried to undo any of mine as know the likely result, all wheels can be bled by slacking off the nearest pipe till it drips, nip it back up allow the pistons on rear brakes to fully extend then push them back in again any air will go back up to the master, same for front but you need to pump the pedal till the pistons are nearly fully out, then push them back with a G cramp, easy, Rick

Just a tip that saved me once: if the bleed nipple is u/s but removable (I drilled mine out!) a small ball bearing followed by a bolt will seal perfectly.
Yes I know.....you still need a suitable ball & screw, but I can't do everything for you LOL.
